Pamela O’Brien has been sharing her love of yoga and meditation for 18 years, as both student and teacher. Although educated and certified by the Himalayan International Institute of Yoga Science and Philosophy, through respected and internationally renowned teachers, Sandra Anderson and Rolf Sovik PsyD, Pam also blends what she has learned through her personal practice, both on and off the yoga mat. Her teaching is highly influenced and infused by other disciplines and teachers such as Thich Nhat Hanh, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhardt Tolle, Pema Chodron & Dr. Andrew Weil.
Additionally, Pam received specialized training from the renowned Trauma Center at Justice Resource, in Brookline, Ma.and is a certifed Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher, for those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. *See more under, "Pathways to Empowerment" and "Trauma Healing Yoga Groups."
Having personally coped with persistent, chronic back pain for about 17 years, prior to a spinal fusion, it became her passion to help others transform anxiety, depression, chronic pain and trauma into the fuel for a richer, healthier, more balanced life. With an insatiable curiosity for Truths, Pam seeks spiritual Truths and strives to metaphorically weave them into the fabric of her classes.

Pam has received a 40-hour training certification from the renowned Trauma Center in Brookline, Ma in June 2010. She is now seeking veterans looking to heal from the traumatic effects of war and specifically those suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. A comprehensive Mind/Body group is now forming.
